WHAT IS PROPHETIC INTERCESSION?

• It is the uniting of the priest and the prophet, in the Old testament we see that the priest pleaded the needs of the people to God and the prophet declared the heart of God before the people Jeremiah 27:1818
• It is to release the will of God into lives, businesses and our environment.
• It is discerning the wisdom of God about a person or situation and praying in agreement with the direction the Lord has revealed.
• It is watching with God over the fulfillment of His word from His word or through personal prophecy.
• It is speaking the Lord’s heart in prayer in whatever way He calls us to - he directs us to pray so that His will in Heaven will be established on earth – Thy kingdom come Thy will be done – is prophetic intercession.
• It opens the door for the fulfillment of the promise – it holds the anointing for breakthrough – it is the battle plan from the throne room of the Lord.
• It is the declaration and praying forth of things that cannot be known by the natural mind or through natural circumstances.
• It is the forth-telling of the will and purpose of God, past, present and future.

Prophetic Intercessors have their ears attuned to heaven and their mouths declaring God’s will on earth. They pray what the Holy Spirit reveals so that God’s will is released in this earth. Your kingdom come Your will be done is the heart’s cry of the Prophetic Intercessor

They stand in the gap until the Lord discloses His heart and mind about a matter or circumstance. The word is taken in prayer believing the Holy Spirit will work through prayer to bring about God’s original intent for our lives.

They take personal prophetic words and fight a good fight with them, putting God in remembrance of what he has said. Isa 62:6 AMPC I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who [are His servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence,
